Types of ICP Licenses

Commercial ICP License

For online business operations and e-commerce, a Commercial ICP license is key.

Non-Commercial (Bei’an) ICP License

The Bei’an ICP license serves non-commercial platforms providing primarily informational content to users.

ICP License Requirements

1. Follow the local ICP Filing regulations：

Each Chinese province has its own ICP Filing regulations. An ICP Filing must be registered in the same province where the applicants’ business licenses are issued.

2. Prepare scanned copies of your identifications and other required documents:

Organization’s registration certificate

Prepare scanned copies of the organization’s registration certificate

ID card

Prepare front and back of the ID card of the person in charge of ICP Filing and the website administrator, and an authentication document stamped with the company’s official seal.

ECS instance

An ECS instance with a subscription for at least three months and an Internet IP.

Domain name

A domain name registered from a Chinese domain name provider.

The real-name registration information

The real-name registration information of the domain name must be the same as the information of the ICP Filing subject or the subject administrator.
