With over 1.4 billion population and a burgeoning middle class, China presents immense potential for businesses aiming for global expansion. The fusion of China’s thriving digital economy and the resilience of its market offers a golden gateway for you to scale your business.
To effectively tap into this market, your content needs to be hosted in China. This necessitates an Internet Content Provider (ICP) filing or “Bei-An,” mandated by China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT). Given our experience since the introduction of ICP regulations in 2000, EdgeNext adeptly navigates these evolving rules to ensure successful content hosting and delivery for our clients in the expansive Chinese marketplace.
For online business operations and e-commerce, a Commercial ICP license is key.
The Bei’an ICP license serves non-commercial platforms providing primarily informational content to users.
Each Chinese province has its own ICP Filing regulations. An ICP Filing must be registered in the same province where the applicants’ business licenses are issued.
Prepare scanned copies of the organization’s registration certificate
Prepare front and back of the ID card of the person in charge of ICP Filing and the website administrator, and an authentication document stamped with the company’s official seal.
An ECS instance with a subscription for at least three months and an Internet IP.
A domain name registered from a Chinese domain name provider.
The real-name registration information of the domain name must be the same as the information of the ICP Filing subject or the subject administrator.
