Configuration Scenarios
With intelligent compression configured, the CDN applies Gzip compression to resources according to the set rules when returning content, which effectively reduces the size of transmitted content and saves bandwidth costs.

View Configuration
Log in to the CDN console, select Configuration → Domain Config from the menu bar, and click Details in the operation column on the far right of the target domain to enter the domain configuration page. You can find the Smart Compression setting under Advanced, which is disabled by default.

Enable Configuration
Click to enable the feature to activate the compression rules.
By default, Gzip compression is enabled for resources larger than 1KB with the following file types: text/plain, text/html, text/css, text/xml, application/javascript, application/x-javascript, application/json, application/rss+xml, text/javascript, image/tiff, image/svg+xml, application/xml.
