Function Overview
Configuration Overview
The EdgeNext CDN console provides a comprehensive set of core configurations for domain management. This document describes the available features to help you quickly adjust base service settings. To modify domain configurations, the accelerated domain must be in Enabled or Configuring status and must not be placed under CDN service suspension.
Basic Configuration
Basic configuration defines the core parameters of your CDN acceleration service (including acceleration region and service type) and origin server settings. These are mandatory configurations for CDN acceleration to take effect.
| Configuration Item | Description |
|---|---|
| Basic Information | View key domain attributes including creation time, last modified time, acceleration region, and service type. |
| Origin Domain | Supports multi-IP round-robin origin requests, domain-based origin routing, and primary/standby origin failover configurations.Allows customization of origin request protocol and port. |
Origin Configuration
Origin configuration allows you to add and modify HTTP headers sent with CDN origin requests. By default, the TCP connection timeout for origin requests is 15 seconds, and the origin read timeout is 2 minutes. All CDN origin requests use byte-range fetch by default. If your origin server does not support range requests, please contact our support team to disable this feature.
| Configuration Item | Description |
|---|---|
| Origin Host Header | By default, the Host header in CDN origin requests matches the accelerated domain name. Use this setting to customize the Host header value. |
| Origin Request Headers | Add, modify, or remove specified HTTP header fields for origin requests as needed. |
Cache Configuration
Define and customize domain-level caching rules to control how CDN edge nodes store and serve your content.
| Configuration Item | Description |
|---|---|
| Cache Rules | Configure custom caching policies with the following parameters:1. Cache match type: File extension, Directory, All files, Exact path2. Cache TTL (time-to-live) / expiration period3. Specific content scope to apply the rule to4. Cache rule priority order5. Query string handling (whether to include query parameters in cache keys and origin requests) |
Access Control
Access control rules allow or block client requests to CDN resources by matching key attributes of incoming requests. Currently, IP and Referer-based controls are supported. For additional access control features, please contact our support team.
| Configuration Item | Description |
|---|---|
| IP Allowlist & Blocklist | Configure IP-based access rules to allow or deny requests based on the client IP address in the HTTP request. |
| Referer Allowlist & Blocklist | Configure Referer-based access rules to allow or deny requests based on the Referer header included in the request. |
HTTPS Configuration
The HTTPS acceleration module supports a full range of TLS/SSL configurations. TLS 1.0, 1.1, and 1.2 are enabled by default.
| Configuration Item | Description |
|---|---|
| HTTPS Acceleration | Enable HTTPS acceleration using SSL certificates hosted in the Certificate Management service. |
| HTTP/2 Support | When enabled, CDN edge nodes accept connections over the HTTP/2 protocol.HTTPS certificate configuration is required prior to enabling HTTP/2. |
| HTTP to HTTPS Redirect | When a valid certificate is configured, you can enforce automatic redirection of all HTTP requests to HTTPS. |
| OCSP Stapling | When enabled, the CDN attaches a cached OCSP response to the TLS handshake to reduce handshake latency.HTTPS certificate configuration is required prior to enabling OCSP stapling. |
Advanced Configuration
| Configuration Item | Description |
|---|---|
| Response Headers | Customize HTTP response headers that are returned to the client with each response. |
| Intelligent Compression | Specify file types and content scope for automatic Gzip compression to reduce transfer size and improve page load performance. |
